2024 is a special year for us, marking the 40th anniversary of our first adventures gigging in Houston, Texas; and spring sees us back on the road – supporting the legendary Clearwater Creedence Revival for six UK dates on their global ‘Born on the Bayou’ tour.
Whilst CCR’s best-known songs are probably ‘Bad Moon Rising’ and ‘Proud Mary’, the back catalogue clocks up over sixty songs released on seven albums across four amazingly prolific years of songwriting, recording and performing.
Crowds will be in for a nostalgia-fest of the highest calibre – delivered by an elite tribute band who sell out huge venues around the world. Creedence, and writer John Fogerty, were an early influence on us so we’ll be loving their shows and enjoying the music – whilst for us the tour will get us in front of huge audiences in great venues, sharing songs from both our albums with friends old and new.
We’ll be joining the tour in Gillingham and Margate, then on to Glasgow and Edinburgh, both cities where we enjoyed a warm welcome and generous appreciation from audiences back in late 2021. Then it’s Coventry and finally to London’s Indigo at the O2, baby sister to the main O2 venue in Greenwich.
Joining us on the road this time will be Pete Roythorne on bass, James Adams on guitars and Steve Gilbertson on drums.
